SlackOnly SlackBuilds

SlackOnly is a third party software repository for Slackware Linux that provides binary packages built from SlackBuilds.org build scripts.

The goal is to enable users to install any package from SlackBuilds.org using pre-compiled binary packages. SlackOnly packages contain Metadata that provides dependency information to package managers that have the ability to read such information. SlackOnly assumes that its users are running a full installation of Slackware Linux prior to use.

Microlinux Enterprise

MLED is a full-blown production desktop based on Slackware Linux and the Xfce desktop environment, with many enhancements.

The Microlinux Enterprise Desktop is currently used by various small town halls, public libraries, schools and local radio stations in South France. MLED is not some derivative distribution. It provides extra packages for Slackware through a series of package repositories that can be easily managed through Slackware’s package manager. These package sets are installed on top of a trimmed-down but otherwise mostly unaltered Slackware base system. A handful of stock Slackware packages have been rebuilt for enhanced functionality.

Salix

Salix is a GNU/Linux distribution based on Slackware that is simple, fast and easy to use, with stability being a primary goal. Salix is also fully backwards compatible with Slackware, so Slackware users can benefit from Salix repositories, which they can use as an “extra” quality source of software for their favorite distribution. Like a bonsai, Salix is small, light & the product of infinite care.

It includes libraries and other dependencies with a comprehensive dependency list for each package so you will know exactly what you need to install.
